At this conference we want to highlight interactivity and networking. We will include two “postcard sessions” where any attendee can feel free to share ideas and best practice, and simultaneously receive audience feedback and feel supported by peers. Please see the “postcard guide” below to submit your ideas.

There will also be regular paper sessions, where presentations will be brief to maximize audience participation.

Up to two workshops will be offered, and details will be shared here as soon as they’re finalized.

An optional dinner reception will follow the conference programming, and we hope to see you there! Seats are limited so please get your dinner ticket soon.

To optimize participation, engagement, and networking, we will use a mix of unconference and conventional formats. And to make this conference a low-stress event, we encourage conciseness in both writing and presentation. We introduce two paper styles:

  • Regular paper, limited to 6 pages max; double-blind peer reviewed
  • “Postcard session” (research pitch and teaching tidbits); this is the main driver for the unconference; submit your ideas here!
  • Workshops; hands-on experience (and artifacts!) you can take with you to your institutions
